Our new Firearm Safety Division is a full-service training and permit-support program built around safety, professionalism, and real-world readiness—including tactical first aid. We provide the NYS/NYC 18-Hour CCW course, step-by-step application assistance for concealed carry and Rifle/Shotgun permits, and access to a trusted gunsmith for inspections, maintenance, and reliability support. For clients who want a more personalized experience, private firearms training and tactical first aid training can be scheduled by appointment to match your goals, skill level, and availability.

BVAC - MIBP Training Center
The Firearm Safety Division is a new division of BVAC Rescue Response Training Center—built in partnership with Medicine in Bad Places. We provide professional firearms safety education and real-world readiness training for today’s rapidly changing environment. Our mission is to help everyday people and professionals build the skills, mindset, and confidence to make safe decisions when it matters most.

Armory 1776 is a trusted Nassau County, NY (New Hyde Park) gunsmithing shop serving responsible firearm owners across the New York Tri-State area. Known for craftsmanship, safety, and dependable performance, Armory 1776 helps clients keep their equipment in top condition—whether it’s for the range, home protection, or professional use. Services are provided by appointment, with a focus on personal attention and clear communication throughout the process.
Armory 1776 also works alongside BVAC Rescue Response Training Center (Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps®) to support a safety-first approach to responsible ownership. Armory 1776 provides onsite, fully guaranteed firearms service designed to improve safety, function, and confidence in your equipment, including:
- General repairs and troubleshooting
- Deep cleaning and oiling
- Function and safety testing, especially helpful for used firearms
- Accuracy and optics support, including scope mounting and related setup

Training & Community Preparedness
Through the BVAC partnership, clients can connect with trusted, professional instruction designed for real-world readiness. Armory 1776 also supports responsible ownership through NRA-certified pistol instruction and community-focused programs such as the NRA’s “Refuse to be a Victim” seminar—an awareness-based course that emphasizes smart habits and practical crime-prevention strategies.

Clearview Concealed Carry, Inc., operating as HandgunPermitNYC.com, is a private NYC handgun license application support service built to help applicants move through the process with clarity and confidence. We work with everyday people and professionals who want to avoid common mistakes, missing documents, and preventable delays by providing structured, step-by-step guidance from start to finish.
A key part of what makes our process strong is our long-standing partnership with the BVAC Rescue Response Training Center (Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps®). Over the years, this relationship has allowed us to connect applicants with a trusted training team focused on real-world safety, responsibility, and readiness. Through BVAC, clients can complete required education such as the NYS/NYC 18-Hour CCW Course, along with additional skills-based training to build safe handling, confidence, and responsible decision-making.
Our team assists with application completion and detailed reviews, ensuring everything is accurate, consistent, and ready for submission. We help clients gather and organize required materials, including supporting documents, IDs, and training certificates, and we can assist with notarized forms when needed. If court paperwork is required, we guide clients through obtaining records such as a Certificate of Disposition, and we help ensure those documents are presented correctly as part of the application package.
We also provide NYPD interview coaching and preparation, so clients understand what to expect and can arrive organized and confident. For clients who need options beyond New York, we offer multi-state permitting guidance, including pathways for 36+ states (based on eligibility and each state’s requirements).
