Citizen First Responder Course (BVAC, Queens)
About the Course
This hands-on course teaches practical, lifesaving skills for the minutes that matter most. You’ll learn how to stop severe bleeding, support breathing, manage trauma, and build a simple action plan until professional help arrives. Designed for everyday New Yorkers who want confidence and capability in an emergency.
What You Will Learn
- Bleeding Control: Direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet use
- Airway & Breathing: Clearing obstructions, recognizing respiratory distress
- Trauma Basics: Shock recognition, splinting fundamentals, scene safety
- Emergency Action Plans: Calling 911, communicating clearly, keeping bystanders safe
Who Should Attend
Parents, teachers, coaches, faith/community leaders, workplace safety teams, security, and anyone in NYC who wants to be prepared to help family, friends, and neighbors.

- No Parking In The Lot Next To Our Building, You Will Be Towed or Locked In.
If you leave a deposit, the full course price will appear initially as you’re directed to the payment portal.
